"A real touch of luxury that you would only find in a five star hotel"
We have had a gorgeous stay at The Lodge; it is a classy; well presented oasis of calm that makes you feel totally relaxed; refreshed and spoilt.
The Lodge has all the facilities you could think of; it has a bed to die for and provides you with a real touch of luxury that you would only find in a five star hotel.

My husband, David, and I stayed at the Lodge for two nights. This is undoubtedly the best stay away that we have had.
The Lodge is cozy and every thought and attention to detail has been given. The bed was the most comfortable that we have stayed in, apart from our own!
It has been very tastefully finished and provided every comfort that we needed. This is such a fabulous hideaway, peaceful, central and yet private. Everyone was so friendly in the village, at the New Inn and Morley's wine bar was excellent.
Thank you for your very welcoming greeting and for providing such a lovely getaway place. We will be back!

My new favourite little countryside retreat. I want to move in. This place is an absolute gem of a find. So luxurious feeling but still so cosy. Wish I could have stayed longer. Easy walking distance to pretty shops, pubs and restaurants.
Spectacular walks and countryside right on the doorstep and very helpful and knowledgable owners to offer advice about best places to go. We had a truly perfect weekend here. Will be booking a week next time! Thank you Gerry and Rod.

Wow, what an amazing place to stay. I can honestly say I have never had a better nights sleep, possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! The Lodge is beautiful, cosy and incredibly well equipped with everything you could possibly need including a great wifi connection.
5 star standard in every aspect, beautifully clean; everything is of the highest standard. I felt so welcomed by the lovely owners too who are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back and will be telling all my friends and colleagues about it. Can't wait for an excuse to come back!

I am just about to leave the lodge after 65 nights here. I have relocated for a new job and needed temporary accommodation.
As a frequent traveller who stays in horribly expensive hotels on business (that i would never pay for with my own money!), I am saddled with high expectations.
The lodge is quite simply one of the best places I have ever stayed in my 20 years of travelling.
Moving from a large home, I was worried about the lodges compact dimensions. I should never have been concerned. It has a lovely, stylish and spacious atmosphere that I have happily lived in for 2 months Rod and Gerry, the owners are great hosts. Which for me means "invisible unless required". They are a lovely, hospitable, charming couple and nothing is too much for them.
The village is beautiful, there is free parking across the road and a little terrace. (3 or 4 great pubs, lots of shops, a cop-op for the essentials) What makes it so special? Top notch decor, quality bedding, pillows, towels, a great shower, the list goes on.
In terms of Sussex and especially Brighton it offers exceptional value. Stay here rather than a bland "ikea" style apartment in Brighton.
I never bother to write reviews for anything, but feel The lodge deserves a fantastic review because quite simply it is......"fantastic" Stay here. You won't be disappointed stayed in 3/2016

I have never, ever seen such high standard accommodation outside of a world-class five star hotel. I want to stay longer – but sadly cannot..
It is even better than the photos – now when does that happen? The layout, workmanship and standard of every fitting is astonishing. As soon as you walk in, you feel at home. What joy to have internet that simply works without annoying repeated log-ins. Great water pressure, lashings of hot water.
A great kitchen. Piles of crockery and glassware. And that ultimate rarity. Spotless. Beautiful. Hope I will be back – if the owners have a space for me :)

I enjoyed our stay in The Lodge! It is located right in the heart of the beautiful village and next door to restaurants and bars. The cottage is beautiful and very cosy, it has everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay.
The owner are great hosts and very helpful in making sure you enjoy your stay. You will love it!

We stayed in The Lodge for over 3 weeks as we were relocating to the UK. The Lodge is as lovely as on the picture – even nicer. Everything you need is there and every detail is chosen with great attention and a lovely style by the hosts.
The landlords are very nice and caring people. Definitely recommendable!
